I'm ready

I'm very excited about the Bass Daddy Brew Holly Hop IPA.  This brew is going to be one of a few I hope to enter into the Kentucky State Fair this year.  It is a Belgian IPA.  It will have 1 1/2 oz. hops and another 1/2 oz. of dry hops that I am going to add to the 2nd vessel.  I hope it turns out good.  It is two of my favorite styles.

Tasty, Tasty.....

I've tried the Bass Daddy Farm House Ale.  Its very good I did not get the flavors of the coriander that I expected.  I think when I brew this one again I will add a little more coriander.  The orange peel does come through in the finish, its a refreshing beer.  I going to let it condition a little while longer.

Sunny day and no beer to drink.

Sunny winter day no beer to drink, brew, bottle, or switch to a new vessel.  Well at least the kids are enjoying the weather on there bikes and scooters.

Test tasting....

I opened one of the Farm Houses it is no where near ready to drink.  I was so hoping with it being in the bottle almost two weeks that the flavors would have mingled a little better.  I hope giving it another two weeks it will be ready.  I think it will be very tasty.  I would like to squeeze a fresh orange in it next time.  (that is so a girlie)  No offense to any non readers of this blog.

Very busy times.

In the past two weeks I have been on a beer research craze.  What do I want to brew next?  I have the wheat beer covered in two ways, the Farm House and the Pond Water.  I have the American taste bud crave done with the Goddesses.  What next?  Do I go hoppy with the imperial pale ale or do I go basic with a Pilsner.  Hell who knows I may get a little crazy with brewing two compliments.  Suggested by Taylor a black and tan.  I do have a great Gueniss and Bass clone.  I have also been looking at a Triple Belgian Honey (10% ABV).  I will forge on.
